The faculty of John Glenn Middle School of International Studies believes learning to be a process in which each student discovers and constructs meaning from information and experiences. The individual needs, background, and developmental level of each student serve as the starting points for all middle school learning activities.
Our goal is to challenge each student intellectually and personally by providing opportunities for student choice, self-direction, and responsibility. Students learn interpersonal skills, the importance of community, and appreciation of cultural diversity. Students are valued and accepted; and, in return learn to value and accept others.
In close concert with the K-12 progression the JGMS faculty is dedicated to providing a seamless and well-articulated curriculum for all students.
