 Each of the units in the eighth grade focuses on something more than simple medical care. These units go beyond getting better, they focus on prevention through maintenance (taking care of one's self), alternative medicines, careers in medicine that do not involve patient care, and large issues in medicine such as ethics, stem-cell research, and the argument over how long can man live or when do we let life pass? |
