The Thomas Jefferson Jaguars Athletic Program begins in the fall for football season and ends with softball season in the spring. Other sports that are played during the year are volleyball, basketball, and track. Football, track, volleyball, and softball are all co-ed sports. Boys and girls play separate basketball seasons. Each season consists of two weeks of practice and conditioning and two weeks of games. Teams that are played are the Indio Tigers, Palm Desert Panthers, LaQuinta Bulldogs, and the Wilson Nomads, and John Glenn Middle. Jefferson Jaharas play each team once per season. Two games are away and two are hosted by the Jaharas. Practices and games are after school at 2:15-3:30 MTWRF. Students that want to participate in after-school athletics need to maintain a 2.0 (C) Average within their academic classes.
