Parents' Club Foundation

The Washington Charter School Parents' Club Foundation (WCSPCF) is governed by parent volunteers and is a representation of all the families at WCS. As a board, it is our goal to raise funds needed to continue the exemplary programs that distinguish our school.  We work with school administration and teachers to enhance the educational opportunities and positive learning environment for our students. Thanks to your support during 2014-2015 school year, our Foundation successfully raised over $200,000 for the school!  The following are a few examples of how our Foundation benefits the school:

  • Supplements the Music teacher's salary
  • Supplements the P.E. teacher's salary
  • Supplements the reading lab specialists' salary
  • Funding of the Accelerated Enterprise reading program
  • Sponsors the "Year End Book Party – Reading Carnival"
  • Sponsors attendance incentive programs
  • Sponsors behavior incentive programs
  • Provides literature to classrooms and library
  • Funds earthquake supply readiness kits
  • Provides funds and maintains the annual Washington Charter Gives Back campaign
  • Provides funds to teachers for classroom start up supplies
  • Enhances the technology program
  • Coordinates the Name in Lights program
  • Coordinates the Family FUNdraiser Events

  • Provided funds for facility enhancement

Activities sponsored by the Foundation not only provide funds for valuable school programs, but they also provide a fantastic opportunity for families to meet and socialize.  There are many opportunities to help within the school or the WCSPCF to make our school the best it can be.

The Parents' Club Foundation is a non-profit organization, so all donations made throughout the year are 100% tax deductible.
