Graduation Requirements   

A MINIMUM TOTAL OF 220 CREDITS MUST BE ACCUMULATED WITHIN A FOUR-YEAR PERIOD OF TIME (Students do NOT repeat grade levels in high school).

  THE FOLLOWING COURSES MUST BE COMPLETED WITH A PASSING GRADE:

ENGLISH I - IV 40 CREDITS (4 YEARS)

MATHEMATICS
(One year of mathematics MUST be ALGEBRA)

30 CREDITS (3 YEARS)

LIFE SCIENCE
(Biology or Anatomy and Physiology) 

10 CREDITS (1 YEAR)
PHYSICAL SCIENCE  (Geology, Chemistry or Physics) 10 CREDITS (1 YEAR)

WORLD HISTORY
(World Cultures) 

10 CREDITS (1 YEAR)
U.S. HISTORY 10 CREDITS (1 YEAR)
U.S. GOVERNMENT 05 CREDITS (1 SEMESTER)
ECONOMICS 05 CREDITS (1 SEMESTER)
FOREIGN LANGUAGE or FINE ART 10 CREDITS (1 YEAR)
PHYSICAL EDUCATION 20 CREDITS  (2 YEARS)
GENERAL ELECTIVES   70 CREDITS  

  

  • STUDENTS MUST PASS BOTH THE MATH and ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS SECTIONS of the CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL EXIT EXAMS (CaHSEE)

  •  STUDENTS SHOULD PROVE TO BE PROFICIENT IN ALL SUBJECT AREAS BY SCORING AT A PRE-DETERMINED PERCENTAGE ON THE CALIFORNIA STATE MANDATED STANDARDIZED TESTS (STAR/CST) 
  • CITIZENSHIP and BEHAVIOR MUST ALWAYS BE SATISFACTORY!
