The State of California has changed the funding formula for public education, requiring school districts and charter schools to develop a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP is a plan that aligns the school's educational goals with financial resources. These new guidelines are a perfect match to the philosophy and practices of Palm Desert Charter Middle School, where employees, parents, and community members have participated in the development and adoption of an ambitious Strategic Plan for many years.
