JGMS Band Performance update:

Date: Saturday December 11

Time:  10:30 am  to 11:30 am

Location: Barnes and Noble at the Westfield Mall

Dress Code: Students are to wear their black and white formal concert attire, please bring your instrument and music to the performance. 

Bring all of your music and supplies,

Welcome to our new school year

I am very excited about what this year has to offer our students, please be watching for parent information fliers and requests for participation that will be coming home this week.  Please return all forms by their due date so that all students can receive credit.

I also want to welcome our new students and their parents to John Glenn Middle School and our Music Department, I look forward to working with all of our students and their families.

Mr. Gubler and the Band Room is available for assistance or practice time, please check schedule for available times.

Tuesdays;

 Mr. Gubler and the Band Room is unavailable for assistance until after 2:20, please make an appointment.

This is a Busy Weekend for our JGMS Concert Band we perform; 

Date: Saturday, November 14

Location: Barnes and Noble Book Store

 in the Westfield Shopping Center, Palm Desert.

Time: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Uniform: Students are to where their black and white, (black dress pants, black dress shoes, and black socks, white t-shirt and open collar tux shirt, we will not be wearing our tie and cummerbund.

Bring all music, instrument and supplies.

Monday night and Friday night.  Additionally, we have a few students performing on Wednesday evening for a special event with our Drama Dept. 

Wednesday October 28th; Dinner Music for Drama.

(this performance is an optional, extra credit event for our Concert Band members)

Time: 5:30 pm report and warm up

Location: JGMS Band Room and JGMS MPR

Performance: 6:00 pm untill 6:50 pm

Dress Code: Black and White open collar (no tie or cumberbund)

Friday October 30th

Welcome Back To School.  I am very excited about this school year and all it will bring to our students.  We have many wonderful plans for our students and I will need plenty of parental help to make these experiences come to a reality.  Please be checking in for more information.
