Welcome to Desert Ridge Academy!

The 2012-13 school year is going to an exciting year for technology students.  This year we have basic technology classes as well as advanced technology courses.  These various courses will allow students to broaden their knowledge of computer technology as well as introducing them to Web 2.0 technologies. 

 My students will be using a state-of-the-art computer lab to explore a rich and varied technology curriculum. I am excited to be teaching technology at Desert Ridge Academy and look forward to the up-coming school year.

I have been an educator for over 20 years.  During that time I have been actively involved in the integration of technology in the classroom.  In addition to teaching in the K-12 system, I have also been an instructor at the University of California, Riverside and San Diego State University.  In these university-level classes I have been involved in teaching teachers to use computers in their own classrooms.

Once again welcome to my website and my classroom. Computing isn't about technology, it is about living!
