Ms. Rush's Super Students

Dear Readers,

We have some exciting news! We have Super Student! I will love to tell you all about it and who! Let's go! Every other Wednesday we have Super Student. Our teacher picks one or two name(s) out of a cup. This week Ms. Rush picked Sydney Young and Valeria Sandoval. Sydney always follows the rules, finishes her work daily, is sweet to everyone, and she never interupts. Valeria always follows the rules, is also sweet to everyone, and she finishes her work daily. These are true Super Students! Next week I wish I'd get picked! I think I always follow the rules, finish work daily, never talk in class, and I always am sweet to everyone. Anyways, at the beginning of the week we start. If people do bad things like forget their homework they would be pulled out of the draw for that week. Not ever. They will be able to win next week. First, second, and third are together while fourth and fifth are switching off with us. There is nothing really special for Super Student in Ms. Rush's class. Last year in Mrs. Haven's class we got to sit in a rocking chair. I think Super Student shows kids how to act while showing people who do. We also sing songs at the beginning including The Washington Charter School Song. There you have it folks! Super Student! Until next time!

            Sincerely,

Jacqueline Jones, Ms. Rush's class

Dear Readers,
I have some great news!! We have A.R. I will love telling you about it. This year we have a A.R. Wall of Fame!! We also collect A.R. points. We have a 200 A.R. points club and a 400 A.R. points club. That's a lot of points!! Everybody will have a chance to earn points. You also get prizes if you earn points. If you get 5 points you get a hand eraser and a pencil. If you get 10 points you get a book and a bookmark. There's many other prizes too.  Good Luck on getting points and stickers!!!!! I hope you like doing A.R. because you will do it every day. Have a great year and keep reading. My mom always says the more you read the smarter you grow. Well that's the end of that.
Sincerely,
Marissa Alcala Ms. Rush's class
